Dickinson County is a county in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. It is bordered by Lake Superior to the north, Menominee County to the south, Iron County to the west, and Marquette County to the east. The county seat is Iron Mountain. As of the 2010 census, the population was 26,877. The county was created in 1857 and is named for Edward Dickinson, a judge who served in the Michigan Territorial Legislature.
