Carver, MA is a town located in Plymouth County, Massachusetts. The town has a population of 11,099 as of the 2010 census. Carver was first settled in 1639 and was incorporated in 1790. The town is named after John Carver, the first governor of the Plymouth Colony. Carver is known for its cranberry farms and production, as well as being the home of the Plymouth Cordage Company, the oldest rope manufacturer in the United States.
