Brantley County is a county located in the southeastern part of the U.S. state of Georgia. As of the 2010 census, the population was 18,411. The county seat is Nahunta. The county was created on February 17, 1920, from parts of Charlton, Wayne and Pierce counties. It is named for a Confederate general, Francis S. Bartow.
