Bethel is a city in southwestern Alaska, located near the mouth of the Kuskokwim River. It is the main hub for the region, with a population of 6,080 as of the 2010 census. Bethel is the commercial, transportation, healthcare, and educational center for the Yukon-Kuskokwim Delta. The city is home to a campus of the University of Alaska, as well as the main campus of the Kuskokwim Campus of the Alaska Bible Institute.
