Yalobusha County is a county located in the U.S. state of Mississippi. As of the 2010 census, the population was 11,678. The county seat is Water Valley. The county was created by the Mississippi Legislature on February 9, 1833, from parts of Chickasaw and Pontotoc counties. It was named for the Yalobusha River, which runs through the county.
